Alison- This is my favorite part of the piece: "She stopped. A chill like never before froze her like a prey animal who gets a whiff of enemy in the breeze. She opened her mouth to speak, to deny, but there were no lies between them and never had been. Until now." No lies between them is the key here. Great writing. Hope you're well this week?
